The Legacy of the Angels

Unfortunately, a "legacy of darkness" currently predominates on this planet Earth, wherein the systems, institutions, traditions and power structures of human civilization are based, to a significant extent, upon the negatives of greed, hate, fear, dishonesty, ignorance, violence and the concept of "command and control" of the naive masses by the privileged few.

The result of this legacy of darkness is the large-scale suffering of humanity. Such suffering is entirely unnecessary. The need is extremely urgent right now for the drastic reduction and ultimate elimination of human suffering.

The Legacy of the Angels is a spiritual movement of angels, both human and etheric, who are dedicated to eliminating the suffering of humanity.

We define angels as follows:

The Legacy of the Angels is based on knowledge of spiritual Truth, as revealed by the great enlightened masters, the saints and the human angels who have graced planet Earth, both ancient and modern. Ancient masters include Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, and Mohammed.

Purpose

The ultimate purpose of The Legacy of the Angels is to eliminate the suffering of humanity on planet Earth.

But let's get more specific.

The purpose of The Legacy of the Angels is:

As transformed from the legacy of darkness into the Legacy of Light, the systems, institutions, traditions and power structures of human civilization shall be designed, created and maintained on the basis of the following:

  • Truth

  • Divine Law

  • Oneness of all in God

  • Enlightened Wisdom

  • Unconditional Love

  • Compassion

  • Loving Kindness

  • Joy

  • Happiness

  • Friendship

  • Beauty

  • Unlimited Abundance

  • The principle of simultaneously honoring Diversity and Unity

  • The principles of reincarnation and karma

  • The understanding that within every culprit lies a victim and that the key to transforming any culprit is not to punish culprit but rather to heal the victim within the culprit

  • The practice of divine mathematics including (without limitation) the sacred division of each relevant space into the highest possible number of orthogonal dimensions

  • The enlightened understanding of the creative process in its male, female and sexual aspects,

  • The prayer that once created, these systems, institutions, traditions and power structures are only a Blessing to human civilization.

Elimination of long term suffering

The elimination of long-term suffering often requires a temporary increase in short-term suffering.

The simplest example is the removal of a splinter from under the skin. Leaving the splinter in will bring infection and long-term suffering. Digging the splinter out with a needle will increase the pain for a few minutes, but remove the underlying problem.

A more complex example is the ending of an abusive relationship. Sometimes, to exit from such a relationship, a confrontation is required that is even more painful than just tolerating the relationship as it is.

Even more broadly, the spiritual path itself often requires us to face suffering for the very purpose of cleansing and healing deep subconscious "garbage" from our consciousness, and, in that process, we sometimes don't even know why we are suffering. But God knows why, and when we stay focused on God, we are guided to healing.

And on the stage of global power, this principle was asserted by the Founding Fathers of the United States of America.

WHAT THE LAW SAYS:

Declaration of Independence:

... all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

U.S.C. The Declaration of Independence, 1776

In order to eliminate human suffering on planet Earth, we must identify the root causes of the suffering, and eliminate them. This may be painful in the short term, but it may also be the only way to achieve the long term goal.

The Legacy of the Angels is dedicated to the elimination of long-term human suffering.

To the extent that short-term suffering reasonably and rapidly leads to long-term relief, it can be compassionately tolerated.

Membership

Members of The Legacy of the Angels are called "Angels" (capital "A").

Membership is non-exclusive, meaning that members may also belong to other spiritual organizations and/or faiths, including, without limitation, religions, churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, and ashrams.

Membership is free.

The only requirement for membership in The Legacy of the Angels is to take the following angelic vow:

"I, __________, hereby declare that I am an angel who is sincerely devoted to serving God on the basis of Love, Goodness, Truth, Peace, Joy, Caring and Generosity.

"As an angel, I hereby join The Legacy of the Angels.

"As an Angel of The Legacy of the Angels, I hereby make [or re-affirm] my spiritual commitment to God to utilize to the utmost my angelic talents and gifts, as well as my time, energy and resources, in my own angelic way and as guided directly by God, to further the broad humanitarian purpose of The Legacy of the Angels to eliminate human suffering on planet Earth."

Organization

The Legacy of the Angels has no "legal embodiment". Its embodiment is entirely spiritual. It is unincorporated and owns no property. All of the tangible affairs of The Legacy of the Angels are carried out by its Angelic Realms and its Angelic Missions.

The Angelic Realms are corporations sole, incorporated in Nevada. Holy Realm of Surrendered Service is an Angelic Realm of The Legacy of the Angels. One of the main jobs of the Angelic Realms is to organize and manage Sacred Industrial Projects, such as AngelBase. The Chief Angel is in charge of the Angelic Realms.

The Angelic Missions are created and controlled by Angel Members. Each Angelic Mission must have a name and a statement of its humanitarian purpose, which is consistent with, and in support of, eliminating the suffering of humanity on planet Earth. An Angelic Mission can be any of the following legal forms:

We are a CHURCH.

In order to accomplish our lofty spiritual purpose of eliminating human suffering, it is essential that we work from a place of the greatest possible legal strength.

We must use the law to protect our spiritual work.

The opening of hearts and the opening of human souls to the Divine are delicate matters. Great care must be taken to protect all aspects of the process of spiritual awakening. A great, living enlightened master from India describes this succinctly and poetically:

"Religion is the banana peel. Spirituality is the banana."
—Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

The purpose of the peel is to protect the banana. The purpose of religion is to protect spirituality.

But the peel must also be protected.

If the banana gets stepped on, both the peel and the banana will be crushed.

Enormous confusion exists in the world today over the distinction between religion and spirituality. Many spiritual people today are turned off by words like "religion" and "church". This is because of the "less than enlightened" things they have seen in those organizations.

But churches are not the only kinds of organizations that have been tainted by questionable leadership. The worst abuses (by far) have been in organizations called "governments". Also high on the list of abuse have been "for-profit corporations".

Regardless of whether a religion or church is enlightened or hypocritical, it receives enormous legal protections in the United States. This is because the founding fathers were adamant about keeping the government out of the way of religion, so that the banana peel of religion (regardless of its quality or purity) would be able to protect the banana of spirituality.

The founders didn't want the government deciding which religions or churches were good and which were not-so-good. They didn't want the government stepping on any bananas. So, to keep spirituality safe, they protected ALL religion.

WHAT THE LAW SAYS:

U.S. Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

From a U.S. legal perspective, there is no greater position of legal strength for The Legacy of the Angels than the position we attain by identifying ourselves as a "church" and using the language that the law commonly associates with "religion".

God doesn't care what words we use. God simply wants us to stop the suffering of humanity.

And so, notwithstanding the hypocrisy and narrow thinking seen in many churches, we must, from a legal perspective, express ourselves using the language of religion.

The Legacy of the Angels is a church.
And so be it. And so it is. Amen.

Furthermore, The Legacy of the Angels is a "mother church" and its Angelic Realms are "child churches" of the mother church. Holy Realm of Surrendered Service is an Angelic Realm.

While the mother church is and shall remain unincorporated, the Angelic Realms are each incorporated as Nevada corporations sole under Nevada law. This is discussed in detail on our Corporations Sole Law page.

Sacred Industrial Projects.

Sacred Industrial Projects are one of the keys to transforming the systems, institutions, traditions and power structures of our global civilization from darkness to Light. The following is quoted directly from Article 14 of the Articles of Incorporation of Holy Realm of Surrendered Service:

1. Any industrial project undertaken and managed by an Angelic Realm, or by a group of Angelic Realms acting in concert, shall be called a "Sacred Industrial Project of The Legacy of the Angels" or, in abbreviated form, a "Sacred Industrial Project".

2. Sacred Industrial Projects shall be dedicated, in all of their aspects, to advancing the broad spiritual purpose of The Legacy of the Angels ... to eliminate human suffering on planet Earth.

3. Sacred Industrial Projects are based upon enlightened technologies created by enlightened inventors and developers, whose motivations are spiritual rather than material and who, in the process of inventing or developing such technologies, contribute to eliminating human suffering on planet Earth.

4. Sacred Industrial Projects are financed by capital that is obtained by sacred means which, by the raising of such capital, contributes to eliminating human suffering on planet Earth.

5. Sacred Industrial Projects shall engage the industrial work services of human angels and other spiritually open people, who, by performing such work, receive blessings and contribute to eliminating human suffering on planet Earth.

6. Sacred Industrial Projects shall produce products and/or services, all of which shall, by their manifest nature and by the prayerful intentions behind their creation, bring spiritual blessings to each end-user. The process of anyone utilizing any such product and/or service shall contribute to eliminating human suffering on planet Earth.

7. Sacred Industrial Projects shall market their products and/or services by sacred means which, in the process of such marketing, contributes to eliminating human suffering on planet Earth.

8. Any facility of a Sacred Industrial Project (including, without limitation, any factory, office, warehouse, shop, school, meeting room, studio, yard, or field, whether a permanent or a temporary facility) shall be dedicated as a sacred facility, and shall be appointed and operated in a manner that spiritually uplifts the people who work at and visit the facility.

9. The customers and/or end users of the products and/or services of a Sacred Industrial Project shall be required, by any practicable means, to make the following promise prior to purchase and/or use:

"I promise to use _____ [name of product or service] only for good purposes that do not harm others."

10. ... Sacred Industrial Projects shall not do any of the following:

(a) Engage in, or motivate others to engage in, any activity for the purpose of profit or pecuniary gain.

(b) Utilize any industrial process that harms the environment of planet Earth.

(c) Produce any product or service that is potentially harmful to its intended users.

(d) Permit any of its products or services to be used by individuals, organizations or government entities that have demonstrated a pattern of inflicting harm on others and who can reasonably be expected to use such products or services for the purpose of harming others.

Sacred Activities

A sacred activity (sometimes called a "sacrament") is any activity that strengthens the mutually loving relationship between an individual soul and God. Certainly, there is an infinite number of sacraments. Here is a partial list recognized by The Legacy of the Angels, quoted directly from Article 16 of the Articles of Incorporation of Holy Realm of Surrendered Service:
